Το Κέντρο Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης Αρχανών - Ρούβα - Γουβών διοργανώνει εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα και επιμορφωτικές δράσεις για μαθητές και εκπαιδευτικούς με θέματα από την Εκπαίδευση για την Αειφορία, στο πλαίσιο υλοποίησης της Πράξης «ΚΕΝΤΡΑ ΠΕΡΙΒΑΛΛΟΝΤΙΚΗΣ ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗΣ (ΚΠΕ)-ΠΕΡΙΒΑΛΛΟΝΤΙΚΗ ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ» και του υποέργου 2, Άξονας προτεραιότητας 6, στις περιφέρειες σε μετάβαση και μέσω του Επιχειρησιακού Προγράμματος «ΑΝΑΠΤΥΞΗ ΑΝΘΡΩΠΙΝΟΥ ΔΥΝΑΜΙΚΟΥ, ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΔΙΑ ΒΙΟΥ ΜΑΘΗΣΗ» με τη συγχρηματοδότηση της Ελλάδας και της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

Indicative Project Titles

Each participating school is free to choose secondary subjects of investigation, specific to their environment and the interests of their pupils/students. For example, the project titles provided to the schools by the CEEA are not binding upon the former nor do they limit the choices of the educators:

:: Alternative forms of tourism (in general or as regards my district): Each form of alternative tourism or/and all forms together can be examined either through research for the identification of their current status, or in relation to various districts and their capabilities of these districts to develop such forms of tourism, or in relation to the significance of these forms of tourism in the sustainable development of various districts.

  • Agrotourism (and more specifically):
    • agrotouristic establishments in my district,
    • women's associations and traditional product,
    • organic agriculture in tourism
    • edible plants in my district
    • the routes of wine or olive oil
  • Ecotourism (and more specifically):
    • the prospects of ecotourism in my district,
    • enhancement of the natural environment in my district
    • the forest or gorge or river or lake, etc. in my district,
    • exploration of a district,
    • I create my own environmental path,
    • protected areas in my district,
    • forms of protection afforded to my district and pertinent examples,
    • species of flora, fauna or avifauna under protection or at risk in my district
    • I "adopt" and protect a river/stream (or beach or protected species, etc.) in my district,
  • Sports tourism (and more specifically):
    • forms of sports tourism and the prospects for their development in my district,
    • mountaineering clubs,
    • sports and nature
  • Religious tourism (and more specifically)
    • churches and monasteries in my district,
    • accommodation in a monastery,
  • Cultural tourism (and more specifically):
    • Traditional celebrations,
    • Traditional nutrition
    • Vernacular settlements and/or architecture
    • Valorization through tourism of the cultural characteristics of my district,
    • Art/Craft and tourism,
    • Understanding style through tourism,
    • Historical monuments in my district (e.g. the fortification walls of my town),
    • Become an expert of my village and promote it.
  • Scientific tourism (and more specifically):
    • How to create a Herbarium: collections of plants for research purposes
    • Search for rare plants
  • Conference tourism
  • Tourism and protection of species at risk (e.g. the Caretta caretta)
    • Field research involving all living organisms or ecosystem (bird observation, study of a lake, etc.)

    • Tourism and society,
    • The sea and tourism,
    • Professions in tourism,
    • Pollution of our beach and tourism development,
    • Aggravation of the environment in relation to hotel units,
    • Tourism and consequences on the potable water resources,
    • Environmental sensitization and tourism

    • Exploitation of renewable energy resources in alternative tourism
    • Environmental law and its enforcement
    • Management of protected areas
    • EU Programs for sustainable tourism development
    • Environmental education in the tourism sector.
